Men’s Fashion Magazines Covers Spring 2013

A review by Men Chic of the early spring editions for spring 2013 on men’s fashion magazines covers in the kiosks.

I will not tire of repeating this affirmation, the magazine covers are a reflection of the trends. Or at least, if not, what should be. Rather, they should be a true reflection of the actual trends or, in any case, they could adapt to the street. And, although publishers often delight us with spectacular and theatrical productions - some of them impossible to wear - these reports have to understand them as inspiration.

In any case, we should always give inspiration, or at least that is the intention, ideas and proposals that help us for the day and night. Tips reinvent ourselves and therefore reinvent our style. Although often more art than anything else, and just as we can understand the art itself. With a selection of covers those smell, metaphorically speaking, to First 2013.

Soul Magazine

Soul Magazine

Nothing better to start this review as it is one of the favorite tones of the warm season. We talked about the radiant white that conveys positivity and purity. Not to say that one is never bored of wearing it. Luis Borges model lends his image to this report of the Portuguese Soul magazine. A very neutral Publisher that focuses on basic wardrobe of which do not fail. See a sober and pristine white shirt, in this case, adorned with black dots.

Flaunt Magazine

For Flaunt, opt for totally different style. But also instead of a top model approach us a very sophisticated musician Bruno Mars. The artist perfectly embodies this character opts for retro-inspired costumes and the occasional piece sportier but always within a formal style and sober. The photos, by the way, signed by Hunter & Gatti are wonderful.

L'Officel Hommes Magazine

L'Officel Hommes Magazine

The color comes from the hand of the Korean edition of one of the bibles of fashion, L'Officel Hommes. For next season, bet on the dandy style but, yes, with a return of Turkish, urging us to try tailoring garments in bright colors like turquoise, so combine them with pants or shirts printed with patterns in earth tones. The model Sean O'Pry stars in this session that marks many of the hits of the season.

In the style guide, Style Men also committed sartorial lines. Although they, much prefer the style conceptual minimal and deconstructed garments as seen in this evocative cover starring the eclectic model quintessential ambiguity, Andrej Pejic. Which, I imagine, will be sick of the adjective that is used both as a person. In any case, I prefer the sleek gray smoke from his vest blazer.

Carbon Copy Magazine

Carbon Copy Magazine

The black, timeless color and does not understand or trends or seasons, is the perfect excuse and theme of this editorial that shows the power of timeless pieces, these pillars of the male wardrobe that are capable of favoring anyone. The ubiquitous Josh Beech , model and musician, one of the most recognizable faces in fashion and culture underground of late, takes its most profound and mysterious for publication always exquisite Carbon Copy .
