Laser skin resurfacing is a procedure used to correct most signs of aging such as fine wrinkles, age spots, dull skin and dark eye circles. It can also be used to treat these cosmetic defects even when they are not caused by aging. While laser skin resurfacing is mostly a temporary cosmetic procedure that can stall the ravages of time for some time, it can yield satisfactory results for those who can't afford a surgical facelift.

damaging the epidermis to encourage the growth of new collagen and tighten up

Laser acne scar removal
The procedure used to remove old acne scars using laser technology is almost similar to the skin resurfacing procedure. A laser beam is directed onto the scarred area in order to remove the dead skin and car tissue and stimulate growth of new skin tissue. Two types of lasers are used to remove acne car, erbium and carbon dioxide laser.
