Following the Paris Fashion Week, touching look at the collection by Jean Paul Gaultier for Fall-Winter 2012/2013. A collection in which the designer reinvents the concept of a dandy, giving it a touch more urban, flamboyant and daring.
The predominant colors are black, gray and white, with strong bright orange pills. It also cites the mixture of fabrics. Leather with Wool, cotton or velvet. Everything is possible in the world of Jean Paul Gaultier.
For starters, we found a very interesting combination: a tuxedo coat is given from the hand of a leather vest, a mandarin collar shirt, cotton pants and boots. Since then, the mixture is quite strange, but the result I like. Okay, maybe not too wearable, but at any given time, it could take to the streets.
Same happens to this combination of this tuxedo with lapels in contrast, sweatshirt and pants relaxed design and collected at the ankles.
What I do not think anything is the imitation stamped brick walls. In shades of brown or gray, the suits and pants are in, among other items. Of course, this camel color coat with collar and cuffs, leather hair looks fantastic to me. The best of the collection.
Another of the prints used is that of the tattoos. We had talked on occasion that are increasingly being used more models showing their tattoos, both on the catwalk, as in campaigns. Well, Jean Paul Gaultier has the tattoos to their own garments. Personally, I am not convinced at all, but good. Also uses camouflage prints.
A minute, John Galliano Gaultier was going to march for? Oh no ... that Galliano is blond. Well, joking aside, Gaultier also committed to the broad coats are mixed in different tissues.
Sometimes the orange is what takes the reins of look, such as this in, which the whole body monkey model makes it seem just out of jail to get on the catwalk.
The skirts also have their place in the collection, as happened last year. Ankle length, both alone and are worn on the trousers.
Again we are marching to Gaultier to Andrej Pejic , who proved once again to bring ambivalence and other male looks more feminine air.
Here is a look that would put me in full. The great double-breasted long coat, wisely combined with a turtleneck sweater and a gray vest. I also like the pants with a discrete pattern of birds, and black boots.
Here you can see a video with much of the fashion show.
