Difference between cologne and perfume

One of the most common mistakes that are used in cosmetics is to confuse the terms cologne and perfume. We often hear I bought Dior's last colony, for example, and in most cases, it comes to perfume. Today Jared Man clarifies the concepts.

Colognes and perfumes

Perfumes are a combination of essential oils, whether natural or synthetic, water and high-grade alcohol. Depending on the concentration of oils, the scent will last more or less.

The cologne has an alcohol level and a low concentration of essential oils (between 2 and 4 percent).

The water / eau de toilette is very fresh and miss you so much you can without going over or afraid to smell your partner. However, the alcohol concentration is higher, ranging from 5 to 12% so it has more character and persistence.

The water or eau de parfum has a medium intensity and has a degree of concentration of 12 to 18%

Finally, the perfume has a concentration of 18% and with a few drops is enough.
